1. Changu Lake (Tsomgo Lake)

  • A glacial lake situated at 12,400 feet, Changu Lake is a stunning destination en route to Nathula Pass. Surrounded by snowy peaks, the lake offers beautiful views year-round, and visitors can even opt for a yak ride along its shores. The lake is revered by locals and provides a tranquil break from the road.

2. Baba Mandir

  • Just beyond Changu Lake lies Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple, built to honor an Indian Army soldier known for his service and dedication. This temple, nestled in the mountains, has become a popular site for locals and tourists alike. A stop here allows you to learn about the temple’s fascinating history and take in the spiritual atmosphere.

3. Nathula Pass

Have a stomach-filling breakfast and start your day early by checking out from the hotel in Gangtok and proceeding towards Lachung. It is a mountain village perched at a height of 8800 feet and is close to the Tibetan border. It is also home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery. Surrounded by apple orchards, the destinations mesmerising beauty is awe-inspiring.

Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls
En-route, visit the Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls. The viewpoint is a paradisiacal retreat from the loudness of the cities. It offers its visitors’ a stunning view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt Siniolchu. The Seven Sisters Waterfall is one of the most pristine waterfalls in the region. It derives its name from the fact that it cascades in seven stages and is extremely captivating.

You can have lunch midway at the Namok and take a short tea break at Chungthang. Post that; proceed on your journey to Lachung. On arrival in Lachung, check in at the hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner meal which will be served in the lodge itself and spend the overnight comfortabl

Yumthang Valley that stands for ‘The Valley of Flowers’ is your destination for today. After kick-starting your day with a toothsome breakfast meal, check out from the hotel and drive to reach 11,800 feet above sea level to this valley.

Be prepared to get bewitched by the breath-taking beauty of Yumthang. The nature sanctuary is home to a river, hot springs, billy goats, yaks, horses, a variety of Rhododendron trees and grazing pasture on rolling meadows that is enclosed by the mighty Himalayan mountains.

AND BACK TO GANGTOK 

After breakfast, we will drive you to Pelling. The journey from Gangtok to Pelling is pleasing as you will drive past the gorgeous tea gardens, majestic mountains, and scenic landscape. Pelling is a lovely town located amidst the pine forest. It offers great views of snow-capped mountains and the might Kangchenjunga. It is also a home to age-old monasteries.

After a long drive of more than 5 hours you will be tired, so take rest and spend the rest of the day at leisure

After breakfast start for sightseeing.

1st Half tour – Darap village, Khangchendzonga water falls,  Rimbi water Falls & Skywalk walking Bridge

after that transfer to darjeeling

Begin the journey early morning (around 4 am) and drive to the famous Tiger Hill (2590 m) to treat your senses with mind-blowing views of the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. It is the highest point of this hill station.

While coming back from there visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. Enjoy a good breakfast and then visit Japanese Temple which reflects traditional Japanese architecture and is a well known Buddhist pilgrimage. Other attractions which will be covered are Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park(closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda and Chitrey Tea Garden(outer view). In the evening take a stroll along the Mall Road.
